Janelle Golden is a fine art photographer who has lived in New Mexico her whole life. She’s held an interest and dabbled in photography since she was a teenager but took the plunge into professional photography in 2019, when she joined her first gallery. Her passion lies in wildlife, nature, and macro photography, but she appreciates and experiments with the art in every form. Wildlife photography is a subject especially dear to her heart and through her compositions, she strives to not only capture striking images, but personalities.

Janelle’s focus, no matter the subject, is in photographing moments of peace. To create works that allow a moment of stillness amidst bustling lives. Janelle has always considered art a form of escapism, and therefore the images she aims to capture— whether a shot of a colorful sunset, a rare comet, or a moment of coexistence between territorial creatures— are ones that offer a reprieve from the chaos of life.
